    Last updated: March 2026

    1. About These Terms

These terms and conditions apply to all plumbing, heating, drainage, and bathroom services provided by Plumbingandgo, based in Redbridge, London. By booking or using our services, you agree to these terms.

    2. Our Services

We provide plumbing, heating, boiler, bathroom, and drainage services across the Redbridge borough. All gas work is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers. We will carry out all work with reasonable care and skill and in accordance with relevant industry standards.

    3. Quotes and Pricing

    • We provide quotes based on the information you give us and what we can see at the time of assessment.
    • A quote is valid for 30 days from the date it is given unless otherwise stated.
    • If additional work is required that was not included in the original quote, we will discuss this with you and agree costs before carrying out the extra work.
    • Emergency callout work is charged at our standard callout rate plus hourly labour. We will tell you the rate before we start.

    4. Bookings and Appointments

    • When you book an appointment, we will confirm the date and an estimated arrival time.
    • If we need to reschedule, we will contact you as soon as possible and arrange an alternative time.
    • If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
    • For emergency callouts, we aim to attend within 1 hour but this is not guaranteed and depends on current demand and location.

    5. Payment

    • Payment is due on completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
    • We accept bank transfer, cash, and card payments.
    • For larger jobs (such as bathroom installations or boiler replacements), we may require a deposit before work begins. This will be agreed in advance.
    • Late payments may incur interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

    6. Guarantees and Warranties

    • All workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of completion.
    • Parts and materials we supply are covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
    • If a fault occurs with work we have carried out within the guarantee period, contact us and we will return to rectify it at no additional charge.
    • Our guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse, third-party interference, or normal wear and tear.

    7. Access and Property

    • You must provide safe and reasonable access to the areas where work is to be carried out.
    • We will take reasonable care to protect your property while carrying out work. We will use dust sheets and clean up after ourselves.
    • We are not responsible for damage to existing plumbing, pipework, or fixtures that are found to be in poor condition during the course of our work.
    • If we discover asbestos or other hazardous materials, we will stop work and advise you accordingly. Additional specialist removal may be required at your expense.

    8. Liability

    • We carry public liability insurance to cover our work.
    • Our liability for any claim is limited to the value of the work carried out.
    • We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses.
    • Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

    9. Complaints

If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us as soon as possible. We take complaints seriously and will work to resolve any issues quickly and fairly. Contact us at info@plumbingandgo.co.uk or call 07387 987157.
